Regarding the name NPPatch: I love the idea that the community needs a bandaide in this moment (a patch) and the garden metaphor. However, I found myself reacting to the name in the meeting yesterday as though it sounds like a patch, rather than a product. Even if its purpose was primarily going to be to iterate on NPSP, I hear that it’s being done much more thoughtfully - with cleaning things out - than just applying a patch or patches. And it seems like it might be headed toward being its own product.
I hope this is an OK time to bring this up. (Maybe it’s been discussed before?) Since there’s talk about becoming a legal entity, I thought maybe I should put it out there sooner rather than later.
Are there already other names that have been considered?
I’m not great with naming things, but here are some ideas to maybe get the ball rolling?

NPCV - NP Community Version (don’t like that it starts with “NPC” - could add to confusion)
